Syreeta N. Leverett, Ed.D., is an educator, writer, and curriculum designer, who specializes in intervention, curriculum design, and pre-service teacher preparedness.


Dr. Syreeta is an Atlanta, Georgia native who currently lives south of the metropolitan area. She is an active member of her community and is committed to making a difference in the lives of others. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Social Sciences at Georgia Military College while also mentoring student teachers at Mercer University and Western Governors University. She is an active member of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History and the Georgia Association of Educators. She empowers learners and leaders through innovative curriculum design, strategic political guidance, and dedicated mentorship of future educators.

EducationDr. Palmer holds a Bachelor's in Political Science, a Master's in Public Administration, a Master's in Elementary Education, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.

This passion ultimately led her to transition into the field of education, where she could directly impact the lives of young people and their families. As a scholar-practitioner, Dr. Palmer is committed to using her research and expertise to drive positive change in educational practices and policies. She has partnered with numerous educational organizations and several local organizations that seek to enhance their impact through collaborative projects and shared resources. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Palmer is also dedicated to supporting students and families by offering tailored intervention strategies.
